Since 2009, I've worked as a software engineer at Vicarious Visions (now part of Blizzard Entertainment). During this time, I've worked on a number of franchises: Guitar Hero/Band Hero, Call of Duty, Skylanders, Crash Bandicoot, Destiny 2, and most recently Diablo II Resurrected. And also quite a few different platforms (Nintendo DS/Wii/WiiU/Switch, PS3/4/5/Vita, XB360/1/S/X, Apple TV and iOS). It's been a fun ride, and quite interesting to see how games have evolved over the years. That said, this blog is not in any way associated with my place of work, and any opinions expressed here are purely my own.
In my spare time I like to make things (sometimes software), which I plan to post about here. It's been a while since I've hosted a site of my own. Things have come a long way: the Web is on its second major version, CSS/HTML have become (mostly) standardized, and the <blink> tag no longer works! So bear with me while I catch up.
Hopefully you'll find these things as fun as I do, and enjoy reading about them.
Thanks for visiting!
